Henry "Harry" MacDougall (ハリー・マクドゥーガル Harī Makudūgaru?) was a artificially created human being, biological android and the younger brother of Ron MacDougall.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Little to nothing personal is known about Ron or his brother Harry. It is said those with any remote personal information on the MacDougall Brothers "disappear" once they find out.[2] According to Harry, he was "grown" using a mix of genetic material. He describes himself (and Melfina) as a "construct".[1]
Harry and Ron made a name for themselves as the MacDougall Brothers, mercenaries and "outlaws" who will take any job from anyone, no matter the affiliation, so long as they are paid well for the work they are hired to do.
It is unknown if Harry (possibly with Ron MacDougall) was involved in a space pirate attack that killed a fourteen-year-old Gene Starwind's father, Norman Starwind, six years prior to the events of the Towards Stars 156 calendar year.
Confrontation with "Hot Ice" Hilda[]
Ron and Harry shared a past with the outlaw "Hot Ice" Hilda. Their rivalry with the woman began prior to either of their paths crossing with the notorious Kei Pirate Guild. The MacDougall Brothers repeatedly attempted to kill Hilda and harmed those that she was affiliated with.
During Hilda's short time on Sentinel III, the word reaches Blue Heaven that the MacDougall Brothers are searching for her. The news made Hilda's potential partner, McCoy, and longtime friends Marx and O'Mally of the Leprechaun and the Purgatory, respectively, wary of participating in her hunt for the XGP 15A-II.
During McCoy's attempt to trap and kill Hilda at Blue Heaven, Ron and Harry affiliate themselves with the Kei Priates Soi Len and Roi Fong. However, unaware to either pirate, the MacDougall Brothers also made a deal with the Space Forces to destroy the XGP when they found it. When Hilda reaches the rendezvous point where she was supposed to meet Marx and O'Mally, she finds nothing but the debris of their ships and believed the MacDougall Brothers killed them.
As Hilda and the Kei Pirates attempt to take the XGP as their own, Ron and Harry wait until the right moment to attack the asteroid that was used to disguise the spaceship's whereabouts. Neither Hilda or the pirates are able to stop the Helicon missile barrage that drags the asteroid into the gravity of Farfallas. Harry laments the "waste" of their actions, Ron assumes he is referring to the XGP and reminds his little brother that they have the faster ship in the galaxy with the El Dorado; however, Harry corrects him, telling him that he was referring to Hilda.
The MacDougall Brothers leave the scene, assuming they have completed their mission.
Unbeknowst to them, they have made an enemy in Gene Starwind, who recognized the El Dorado as the ship that killed his father.

Characteristics[]
Appearance[]
Harry is somewhat skinny with long, green hair and purple eyes. He dresses in jeans and a black shirt with a sleeveless coat.
Personality[]
Harry is much calmer than his brother most of the time, often keeping his cool and being able to keep up a more innocent façade. Unlike his brother, he is willing to allow a bit of embarrassment to come his way in order to see his goal through, as evident with how he acts when Gene notices him during the race and causes a scene. The only exception to his normally calm and focused personality is when Melfina is his goal.
When it comes to Melfina, he acts with much more rash abandon, becoming a very violent and possessive person in the process. Harry is a ruthless person, fully willing to do whatever it takes to make Melfina his, including murdering the entire crew of the Outlaw Star and even injuring her so she will stop avoiding him. His ruthless attitude is on full display for all to see, and any semblance of the calm façade he kept up vanishes.
This obsession with Melfina seems to be related to the fact that they are both biomechanical humans. Despite all the harm that has been caused by Harry's obsession, it has also been of assistance when trying to find her at the Galactic Leyline, willingly sacrificing his robotic body so that Gene could save her, showing that while extremely unhealthy, his feelings are genuine.
